How OAP Funding can be used for Speech and ABA Therapy
Once you, or your family have access to the Ontario Autism Program (OAP)’s AccessOAP portal, and have eligibility for funding, the OAP Funding program can help assist, or completely cover payments for essential therapy, treatment, and medical assistance for your child.
Therapies and Services provided that are typically covered under Ontario Autism Program Funding:
Pediatric Speech Therapy & Assessments: Early identification and treatment for childhood speech disorders, developmental language delays, and communication milestones.
Articulation & Speech Sound Therapy: Targeted correction for pronunciation difficulties and motor speech sound disorders to improve everyday speech clarity.
Applied Behavioural Analysis: ABA programs that help children with autism form communication habits, behavioural habits, and life skills are typically covered under OAP Funding.
